01 // the problem
The problem
Secure communication software has to manage cryptographic state, transport differences, peer discovery, NAT traversal, persistence, and application-facing APIs without pushing that complexity onto every client.
Citadel separates the protocol, background service, and user-facing workspace so each layer has a focused responsibility.
02 // my contribution
My contribution
- Maintained core asynchronous Rust systems across the Citadel SDK.
- Served as the primary builder of Citadel Agent, the internal service behind Citadel Workspace.
- Served as the primary builder of Citadel Workspace and its integration with the Agent and protocol layers.
- Worked across native and WebAssembly targets, persistence, authentication, and P2P transports.

- Kyber, NTRU, AES-256-GCM, ChaCha20-Poly1305, and Ascon-80pq
- TCP, TLS, QUIC, UDP, WebRTC, WebSockets, and NAT traversal
- FIDO2 authentication, Redis, SQL, OpenSSL, and cross-platform tooling
- Rust core services with TypeScript and Tauri application layers
